Applications are invited for the posts of Library Assistants at Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research, Mumbai
No of Posts: 02 (Two)
Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34800 with grade pay of Rs.4200.
Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in Library science/Information science/ Documentation or ADIS / M.S. Library / Information Science (DRTC) or AIS (INSDOC/NISCAIR) with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade with good academic record.
Experience: Minimum experience of 1 year in a computerized library environment in a reputed academic/research institution/library.
Applicants should have experience of working on Linux, PHP, MySQL, Standard RDBMS, digital library software, CSS, Content Management Systems (CMS) and have the ability to work independently on library related open source software. Zend - PHP and RHCE certification will be added advantage.
Age: Below 28 years.

Mere fulfillment of the minimum qualifications etc. will not vest any right on a candidate for being called for test /interview. The Institute reserves the right to short list the candidates for test/interview.
